Decor&You has really changed the world of decorating by simplifying the overwhelming task of decorating. They have taken the fear out of decorating and differentiated themselves in a way that I have not seen in over 25 years of franchising. Approaching the market in a way that gives their clients the confidence they need to create the space they dream of with Styleprint is nothing short of brilliant.

The StylePrint Design System provides an excellent road map for creating beautiful spaces that people love to live in. This common sense, step-by-step system takes the guesswork—and the stress—out of decorating. I use this system with all of my clients!”

Karen wrote this book for me! I am a lifelong ‘do-it-yourselfer’ decorator with many ‘it seemed like a good idea at the time’ decorator projects under my belt and at various levels of completion. The only word I can use to describe The Styleprint Design System is WOW! The information in this book, presented in Karen’s comfortable, helpful, ‘let’s chat over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine’ style, wowed me by its down-to-earth, logical, ‘I now feel empowered,’ step-by-step process to transform the spaces I call home into a space and place that is a true reflection of me, my lifestyle, my place to work, live, entertain, relax, and rejuvenate. I’m excited to have this tool in my ‘do-it-myself’ decorator toolbox as I look to tackling projects in my twelve-year-old home.”

I pleaded, I begged, I even made that face (you know the one) to get her not to include trademarked information, but Karen was insistent on sharing the inner secrets to decorating gleaned over her thirty years of education, experience, and sometimes excruciating business lessons. The StylePrint Design System is the one book that takes the decorating and design training you previously couldn’t obtain without a significant investment of time and money and marries it with practical business formulas that deliver a business you can not only love but one that delivers bottom line results.

If you are a decorator in training, a hobby decorator, or a decorator/designer that loves the home fashions industry yet struggles with practical business dollars and sense (not measly cents!) this book may boost your passion and your P&L.”

I thought The Styleprint Design System was very practical and concrete. It is not meant to be a quick fix solution book. It requires serious thought and consideration of the situation and the process. The reader has to really think about what he/she has and what he/she wants and how to accomplish it. It can be time consuming. One of the features I liked best in the book were the personal examples; they make it easier to understand.
